Sam Naglee founded his carting business in 1912, hauling goods by horse and wagon between Elmira Heights and the freight terminals in Elmira. More than 110 years and four generations of ownership later, the horses are gone, but the way we work has not changed. We answer the phone, we keep our word, and we treat every move like it matters, because it does.
Naglee joined the United Van Lines family in 1967 and has grown with the network ever since, including years rated among the top ten United agents for international bookings. In 1995, we launched Naglee Fine Arts, a dedicated division serving museums, galleries, and private collectors with museum-grade crating, conservation-quality storage, and trained preparators trusted by registrars at major institutions.
